Nordic Walking Workshop

Back

Detailed description

Nordic walking is often ridiculed by many athletes. However, Nordic walking is ideally suited as a supplementary sport to avoid overstraining, to get back into training after an injury, to prepare for the cross-country skiing season or simply to train the whole body. In addition to the leg muscles, it strengthens the often neglected core, shoulder and arm muscles in particular, thereby improving posture. With the correct technique, the intensity can range from light to very intense. However, the right technique is a prerequisite for getting the most out of Nordic walking training.

Course content

In the workshop, whether for advanced or beginners, the technique is instructed and the movement sequence is analyzed using video recordings in order to avoid the most common mistakes. Let the instructors from Markus Ryffel's team show you how you can improve your technique and how you can vary your training to achieve the greatest benefit.

During approximately three hours, you will gain a comprehensive insight and further knowledge of the alternative sport of Nordic walking in a healthy mix of theory and practice.

Prerequisite

The course is not linked to specific performance requirements.
