Merger of markus ryffel's GmbH and swimsports.ch
Association of the leading providers of proven and recognized training and further education in the areas of Aqua-Fitness|Aqua-Medical in Switzerland. The Aqua-Fit division of markus ryffel's GmbH (mr's) and swimsports.ch have been working together since September 15, 2018. swimsports.ch is taking over all Aqua-Fit and Aqua-Medical activities from mr's and will continue to run them at the same high level of quality as before. The proven Aqua-Fit by mr's course team will remain in place for the deep water running courses (DWR).
Markus Ryffel, the pioneer of deep water running (DWR) in Switzerland, is handing over the activities to swimsports.ch. swimsports.ch, the competence center for swimming and aqua fitness, is taking over all training and further education courses as well as the aqua fitness services and will continue to run these unchanged and in high quality.

With the strategic orientation of swimsports.ch to become increasingly active in the aqua-medical sector in the future, markus ryffel's GmbH is the ideal partner. Markus Ryffel recognized the potential of offering health-promoting courses with Aqua-Fit and integrated Deep Water Running as early as 1984.

All services will continue to be offered by swimsports.ch: Qualitop recognition, SUISA billing, esa recognition, CD & DVD sales.
The name "Deep Water Running DWR according to markus ryffel's" will be retained
DWR courses will continue to be run by the experienced Aqua-Fit team
The PWR courses of 2019 are developed by the mr's team and are specially marked in the course program of swimsports.ch.
This is changing
The experienced course secretariat of swimsports.ch takes over the administration of the DWR courses of markus ryffel's GmbH.
The DWR specialist training now builds on the 3-day esa core training from swimsports.ch. The entire 6-day course is recognized by esa adult sports Switzerland.
After the basic training, the Qualitop-recognized aqua fitness instructor training can be completed with the training day and examination.

Aqua-Fit is a combination of running in the water (deep water running) and water gymnastics in deep water. Both the untrained and the competitive athlete move at a slow-motion pace with the help of a special neoprene buoyancy aid, the wet vest, floating in the pool or in open water, thereby promoting all fitness factors. With easy-to-learn exercises and step forms, the most important muscle groups can be specifically strengthened against the water resistance and an efficient cardiovascular workout can be completed.
Medical professionals such as doctors and physiotherapists as well as other interested parties are sensitized and trained in special courses. Aqua-Fit has a firm place in rehabilitation and prevention, whether in the form of a medical certificate or physiotherapy work that can be continued in a course.
